The image used of the artist shows her to be very powerful and as she is main feature in the shot, it shows her significance. She is displaying a stern facial expression whilst looking directly into the camera which could indicate her authority. The direct eye contact attracts the readers attention because it is like she's staring directly at them, drawing their attention to the information below about her album release.
